Federal Communications Commission Adopts Revised Band Plan for Public Safety 700 MHz Band

The FCC has adopted a new band plan for the 700 MHz band, which spans 24 megahertz of spectrum allocated for public safety services, to improve assignment and operational possibilities for the public safety community, while also protecting global navigation satellite systems and enhancing interoperability capabilities for public safety entities.
