FDA Amends Color Additive Regulations to Allow Phaffia Yeast in Salmonid Fish Feed

The FDA is exempting phaffia yeast from certification requirements to enhance the color of salmonid fish flesh, following a petition from Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) to allow its safe use in fish feed.
