FDA Confirms Effective Date for Haematococcus Algae Meal Color Additive Rule

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed the effective date of August 8, 2000, for a rule allowing the safe use of haematococcus algae meal as a color additive in salmonid fish feed to enhance their flesh color.
