FDA Approves New Nitenpyram Tablets for Flea Treatment in Dogs, Cats, and Other Animals

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new animal drug application (NADA) for Novartis Animal Health US, Inc. to treat flea infestations in dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens aged 4 weeks or older and weighing 2 pounds or more, with the new oral dosage form being nitenpyram tablets.
