The U.S. Department of State has corrected a public notice regarding the exhibition of culturally significant objects from the Nationalgalerie, Berlin, at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC. The corrected notice states that the display of three of these objects, including works by Caspar David Friedrich, is in the national interest and will be part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 'Moonwatchers' exhibition, scheduled to take place from September 11, 2001, to November 11, 2001.
