Proposed Agency Information Collection Activities: Comment Request

In accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. chapter 35), the Board and the OTS (collectively, the "agencies"), may not conduct or sponsor, and the respondent is not required to respond to, an information collection unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. The agencies, under the auspices of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), propose the discontinuance of two information collections, the Annual Report of Trust Assets (FFIEC 001) and the Annual Report of International Fiduciary Activities (FFIEC 006), effective with the December 31, 2001, report date. At the end of the comment period, the comments and recommendations received will be analyzed to determine whether the FFIEC and the agencies should proceed with their plan to discontinue the information collections. The agencies will then submit this action to OMB for review and approval.
