NMFS Prohibits Pollock Fishing in Gulf of Alaska

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited directed fishing for pollock in Statistical Area 630 of the Gulf of Alaska due to concerns of exceeding the third seasonal allowance of total allowable catch (TAC) and closing the C season fishery.
