USDA Increases Assessment Rate for Northwest Fresh Bartlett Pear Marketing Committee

The USDA has raised the assessment rate for the Northwest Fresh Bartlett Pear Marketing Committee from $0.02 to $0.025 per standard box of fresh Bartlett pears, effective for the 1999-2000 fiscal period and beyond, to cover administrative costs of the marketing order regulating the handling of fresh Bartlett pears grown in Oregon and Washington.
