US Coast Guard Proposes Permanent Safety Zones for New York Harbor Fireworks

The US Coast Guard is proposing to establish five permanent safety zones for fireworks displays in New York Harbor and surrounding waters to ensure the safety of life on navigable waters during events, restricting vessel traffic in the area before and after the fireworks displays.
