Mail Classification Case

This document provides notice that the Commission has established a new docket to consider a proposed two-year experiment allowing certain Standard class mail to ``ride along'' in Periodicals class mail for a flat charge of 10 cents. It also addresses related procedural matters, such as expedition, waiver of certain filing requirements, and settlement discussions. This notice and the related directives will allow the Service's proposal to be considered expeditously.
