US Approves Texas Lead Air Quality Plan

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a plan from the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) to redesignate Collin County, Texas, as meeting the national air quality standard for lead, following a request submitted by the Governor in 1999.
