HUD Adopts Revisions to Single Family Mortgage Insurance Regulations Regarding Floodplain Requirements

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has finalized a rule clarifying floodplain requirements for new construction, which will help mortgagees comply with HUD's single family flood hazard regulations and provide an additional means of meeting these requirements.
