Bombardier Issues Airworthiness Directive for DHC-8-311 and -315 Series Airplanes

Bombardier has issued an airworthiness directive to update the requirements for the ditching dams on its DHC-8-311 and -315 series airplanes, following a foreign civil airworthiness authority's mandatory continuing airworthiness information, to prevent water from entering the airplane during an emergency water landing.
