Walnuts Grown in California; Decreased Assessment Rate

The Walnut Marketing Board has lowered the assessment rate for walnut handlers from $0.0133 to $0.0118 per kernelweight pound, effective for the 1999-2000 and subsequent marketing years, due to expected higher assessable poundage of 252 million kernelweight pounds.
