EPA Extends Tolerances for Metolachlor Herbicide Residues

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the tolerances for the herbicide metolachlor and its residues in spinach, grass forage, and grass hay, allowing for their continued use on these crops until December 31, 2001, due to emergency exemptions granted under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
