EPA to Assist Local Governments in Designing and Implementing Voluntary Environmental Management Systems

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering up to nine local governments assistance to design and implement voluntary environmental management systems (EMS) over a two-year period. The EPA will provide training and technical assistance through a consulting organization, with no direct financial support to participating local governments.
