FERC Expands Landowner Notification and Pipeline Flexibility

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is updating its regulations to improve landowner notification and expedite the certificate process for natural gas pipeline projects, while also expanding categorical exclusions and allowing pipelines to rearrange facilities more easily.
