NMFS Opens Directed Fishing for Pollock in Bering Sea Subarea

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is allowing vessels to catch pollock for processing in the Bering Sea subarea of the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area, in order to fully utilize the 1999 pollock total allowable catch (TAC) allocated to the inshore component in this region.
