Proposed Amendment to Class E Airspace; Leonardtown, MD

This action proposes to amend the Class E airspace area at Leonardtown, MD. Amendments to the Standard Instrument Approach procedures (SIAP) for the Global Positioning System (GPS) and VHF Omni Range (VOR) RWY-11 have made this proposal necessary. Additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet Above Ground Level (AGL) is needed to accommodate the SIAP and for Instrument Flight rules (IFR) operations at the airport.
