Association of Waste Hazardous Materials Transporters Seeks Preemption from Broward County's Hazardous Materials Regulations

The Association of Waste Hazardous Materials Transporters (AWHMT) has submitted a request to the RSPA for a determination that federal law supersedes Broward County, Florida's regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials, following revisions to the county ordinance approved by the Broward County Commissioners in September 1999.
