Extension and Redesignation of Sierra Leone Under the Temporary Protected Status Program

The U.S. government has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Sierra Leone for another 12 months, until November 2, 2000, and redesigned the program to include more eligible individuals, including those who have been continuously present in the U.S. since November 9, 1999.
