BLM Announces Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Horse Creek Federal Coal Lease Application in Wyoming

The Bureau of Land Management has released a Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed sale of a 2,838-acre coal tract in Wyoming's Powder River Basin, following a 1997 coal lease application from Antelope Coal Company. The public hearing will allow comments on the environmental impact and economic recovery of the proposed sale.
