Endangered Species Act Proposal for Gulf of Maine Atlantic Salmon

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) are proposing to list a distinct population segment of Anadromous Atlantic Salmon in the Gulf of Maine as endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, due to declining population numbers and habitat threats.
