EPA Proposes Revisions to Hazardous Waste Identification Rule (HWIR) to Narrow Scope and Exemptions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing changes to the Hazardous Waste Identification Rule (HWIR) to tailor the rules to specific waste risks, including exemptions for certain mixtures and derivatives, and an implementation framework for chemical-specific exemptions
