US Announces 2000 Peanut Quota Range

The US government must announce its national peanut poundage quota for the 2000 crop by December 15, 1999, as required by the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938. The proposed rule suggests a quota range of 1,170,000 to 1,190,000 short tons.
