FAA Modifies Class E Airspace at Marquette, MI, and Revokes at Sawyer, MI, and K.I. Sawyer, MI

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has modified Class E airspace at Marquette, Michigan, and revoked Class E airspace at Sawyer, Michigan, and K.I. Sawyer, Michigan, due to changes in airport operations and the closure of Marquette County Airport in 1999. The changes also involve the decommissioning of a VOR/DME navigational aid and the installation of a new one at Sawyer International Airport.
