EPA Removes Baxter/Union Pacific Railroad Tie Treating Site from National Priorities List

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced the removal of the Baxter/Union Pacific Railroad Tie Treating Site in Laramie, Wyoming, from the National Priorities List (NPL), a list of contaminated sites requiring cleanup. The decision was made after the site met the criteria for delisting under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Deferral Policy.
