Preliminary Exemptions Granted for Vision Impaired Drivers

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has preliminarily approved 34 exemption applications for individuals with vision impairments to drive commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) without meeting the standard vision requirement, allowing them to operate in interstate commerce.
