EPA Proposes Variance for Hazardous Waste Exclusion

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to grant a variance from its hazardous waste requirements for certain materials reclaimed by the World Resources Company (WRC) from metal-bearing sludges, in response to a petition submitted by WRC requesting an exclusion from the definition of solid waste.
