National Capital Region to Allow Fireworks Use for Millennium Celebration

The National Park Service is temporarily modifying its regulation for the National Capital Region to permit the use of fireworks around the Washington Monument for the America's Millennium celebration, which marks the start of the year 2000, and will expire by January 8, 2000.
