USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Pendola Fire Restoration Project in Tahoe National Forest

The US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, will conduct an Environmental Impact Statement for proposed projects in the 2,600-acre Pendola Fire Restoration Project area in the Tahoe National Forest, California, to assess the potential environmental impacts of timber salvage, wildlife habitat improvement, and invasive plant control, and invites public comments and suggestions on the scope of the analysis.
