USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Deep Vegetation Management Project in Ochoco National Forest

The USDA Forest Service plans to conduct an environmental impact statement for a proposed project to improve forest health and diversity in the Deep Creek Watershed, a 55,400-acre area in eastern Oregon, from 2000 to 2004.
