Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Policy for Enforcement Actions on Generally Licensed Devices Containing Byproduct Material

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is updating its policy to outline the interim enforcement approach for certain violations of requirements related to generally licensed devices containing byproduct material, with the changes taking effect after December 2, 1998, when new requirements were published in the Federal Register.
