FAA to Revise Class E Airspace at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is revising the description of the Dallas-Fort Worth Class E airspace area to accommodate the planned relocation of the DFW Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range/Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC) to a new location approximately 3/4 nautical miles west of its current site, with the goal of facilitating the relocation without altering the airspace's dimensions or operating requirements.
