An Industry Coordination Committee System for Broadcast Digital Television Service

The Commission has issued a Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) requesting comment on the establishment of an industry coordination committee to assist in the implementation of digital television (DTV) service. The Commission indicated that it believes such an industry committee could serve to improve its existing procedures for adjusting the DTV Table of Allotments and for managing requests for DTV station modifications as the transition to DTV progresses.
