The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending a final rule that appeared in the Federal Register of October 2, 1996 (61 FR 51498) on informed consent. The document was published with some inadvertent errors in the codified section. This document corrects those errors to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the agency's regulations.
