FDA Delays Effective Date of Mammography Quality Standards Rule

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has delayed the effective date of a rule updating mammography quality standards, as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Reauthorization Act, following a direct final rule published in the Federal Register on June 17, 1999.
