FDA Amends Regulations for Paper and Paperboard Additives

The FDA is updating its food additive regulations to allow the safe use of a specific chemical compound in paper and paperboard products that come into contact with dry food, in response to a petition from Cytec Industries, Inc. (formerly American Cyanamid Co.).
