OCC Proposes Rule to Enable Federal Branches and Agencies to Establish Operating Subsidiaries

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is proposing a rule that would allow federal branches and agencies to establish or maintain operating subsidiaries in a similar manner to national banks, consistent with the principle of national treatment established by the International Banking Act of 1978.
