OCC, Board, and FDIC Amend Regulations to Prohibit Interstate Branches for Deposit Production
The OCC, Board, and FDIC are amending their regulations to clarify that banks cannot establish or acquire branches outside their home state primarily for deposit production, in line with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999.
