Draft Environmental Impact Statement Released for Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin Water Allocation

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has made the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint (ACF) River Basin water allocation plan publicly available. The EIS assesses the potential environmental and socioeconomic impacts of the proposed water allocation formula, which aims to fairly distribute water resources among Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
