Draft Environmental Impact Statement Released for Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa River Basin Water Allocation

The US Army Corps of Engineers has made the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for water allocation in the Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa (ACT) River Basin available to the public. The EIS assesses the potential environmental and socioeconomic impacts of a new water allocation formula, which aims to fairly distribute water resources between Alabama and Georgia.
