Associated Electric Cooperative Receives Finding of No Significant Impact for New Power Plant

The Rural Utilities Service has concluded that its construction of a 200 megawatt power plant in Northwest Missouri by Associated Electric Cooperative will not have a significant impact on the environment, following an independent evaluation of the environmental analysis submitted by the cooperative.
