US Department of Defense to Add New System of Records Subject to Privacy Act of 1974

The US Department of Defense Inspector General proposes to add a new system of records to its inventory, subject to the Privacy Act of 1974, with an effective date of December 31, 1998, unless comments are received. The proposed system report was submitted to the House Committee on Government Reform and Oversight, the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs, and the Office of Management and Budget on November 20, 1998.
