Federal Maritime Commission Proposes Changes to Ocean Carrier and Marine Terminal Agreements

The Federal Maritime Commission is proposing amendments to its regulations governing agreements between ocean common carriers and marine terminal operators, in response to changes made to the Shipping Act of 1984 by the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 1998.
