HUD Issues Fair Housing Enforcement: Occupancy Standards Notice of Statement of Policy

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued a notice outlining the factors it considers when evaluating housing providers' occupancy policies to determine if they may be discriminatory against families with children. This statement of policy complies with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998.
