California Prune Marketing Committee to Increase Assessment Rate for Dried Prunes

The Prune Marketing Committee will increase the assessment rate for dried prunes from $2.16 to $3.28 per ton, effective for the 1998-99 crop year, due to a 38% decrease in expected assessable tonnage.
