U.S. Announces Proposed Subsequent Arrangement for Handling of Highly Enriched Uranium

The U.S. Office of Arms Control and Nonproliferation Policy has proposed a subsequent arrangement for the handling of highly enriched uranium (HEU), which involves dissolving the uranium from stainless steel filters used in medical isotope production, without approving its recycling into new targets.
