Airbus Issues Airworthiness Directive for A320 Series Airplanes to Strengthen Tail Section

Airbus has issued an airworthiness directive to reinforce the tail section of its A320-111, -211, -212, and -231 series airplanes, following reports of the section striking the runway during takeoffs and landings, in an effort to prevent structural damage and potential depressurization of the fuselage.
