Airbus Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for A300 Series Airplanes to Prevent Emergency Evacuation System Malfunction

Airbus is proposing a new airworthiness directive to modify the emergency evacuation slide/raft system on certain A300 series airplanes to prevent the container release cable from jamming, which could delay or impede passenger evacuation during an emergency.
